The coloured circles relate to salmon stocks

The coloured squares relate to trout stocks.

The letters indicates that fish numbers in the river to which the symbols relate are as follows:

A (Colour deep blue) – well above average (compared with the early 1990s

baseline)

B (Colour light blue) – above average

C (Colour dark green) – average

D (Colour bright greed)– below average

E (Colour orange) – well below average

F (Colour red) – fishless

A red square indicates trout status as fishless. A deep blue square indicates trout status as: well above average numbers

A red circle indicates salmon stock status as fishless. A dark green circle indicates salmon stock status as:  at average numbers
